Biography

Wednezday – Actor & Advocate

Wednezday’s journey into acting began in an unexpected way — working as a photo double on The Matrix films in Sydney. Surrounded by dedicated performers, she was inspired to pursue the craft herself. She soon immersed in rigorous study of the Meisner Technique, a discipline she continues to draw on in every role. Today, as a Los Angeles actor trained in the Meisner Technique, Wednezday brings authenticity, discipline, and deep respect for storytelling to both stage and screen.

Her stage career has been extensive, with more than 30 performances in MEISNER, a play about the life and work of Sanford Meisner. She has also appeared in original productions such as Night of Nursery Rhymes, performed at Playhouse West, and countless workshop productions that honed her versatility. On screen, Wednezday has worked steadily in television and film, with credits including Nash Bridges and Criminal Minds for CBS, Get Shorty for EPIX, and a supporting role in the short film Junior.

But Wednezday’s contribution to the entertainment industry goes far beyond performance. Her experiences on set and in the union inspired her to champion actors’ rights, particularly around issues of informed consent, transparency, and digital privacy. Elected as a SAG-AFTRA delegate for two consecutive terms, she participated in national conventions and committees that shaped the union’s direction. In recent years, she has taken a leading role in speaking out on critical issues affecting performers — from the right to medical and personal choice, to the growing challenges of artificial intelligence and digital scans in the entertainment industry.

Her activism has led her to co-author a resolution on digital privacy, mobilize campaigns to protect members’ rights, and serve on SAG-AFTRA’s New Technology Committee, where she continues to push for safeguards against misuse of personal data and AI. For Wednezday, these efforts are not political but deeply human: she believes in fairness, freedom, and the principle that “the best idea wins the day.”

Alongside her advocacy, Wednezday has also organized panels and industry events such as The Unspoken Rules of the Industry, bringing together actors, producers, directors, and casting professionals to share insights and mentorship with fellow union members. Her dedication to building community within the industry is as strong as her passion for acting itself.

Today, Wednezday continues to balance her artistic pursuits with her commitment to advocacy. She is proud to stand not only as an actor but also as a voice for her peers, fighting for transparency, consent, and respect in a rapidly changing industry. For her, acting is more than performance — it is a way to tell the truth, to connect, and to stand for something greater than herself.
